Third Annual Meeting of the Indonesian-German Digital Dialogue and Kick-off of the Working Groups

As stated in the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDoI) by the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and State Modernisation (BMDS) and the Indonesian Ministry for Communications and Digital Affairs (MCDA), a high-level meeting of the two governments takes place once a year to discuss focus topics and activities to be covered under the bilateral cooperation.

The 3rd Annual Meeting of the Indonesian-German Digital Dialogue and the Kick-off of the Working Groups will take place on 6 May 2026 from 13:00-15:25 (WIB) / 08:00-10:25 (CEST) in a hybrid format - at the premises of the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs in Jakarta as well as online. It will cover updates on achievements and on the implementation of the work plan 2025-2026. Participants will also discuss further development of the cooperation. A highlight will be the kick-off of working groups on data protection and AI.
